They say in Greenveil, when the moon is high and the air smells of woodsmoke and wild mint, the Jackalope Trickster stirs. Based on centuries-old folklore, the jackalope is said to be a rare and elusive creature, part jackrabbit, part antelope known for its cleverness, mimicry, and moonlit mischief.

In our fantasy town of Greenveil, the tale deepens: the locals say that on certain nights, if the full moon strikes the ponds just right, the jackalope will rise to dance beneath the stars, antlers glinting like silver runes. He will leave “tippy-toe treasures”-a winding trail of barely-there prints leading to a small pile of gold coins that shimmer invitingly. The moment they’re touched, they dissolve into fine, glowing dust that clings to the skin and brings strange, sideways luck.

The Trickster is well known in the old tales.

His story has been passed down through generations, most often by the Matron of Pumpkin Hollow sitting upon her porch as the evenings grow cold, telling stories to wide-eyed children gathered close beneath the lantern light.

And there is one night, she will tell them, when the Trickster comes out to play.

The Night of Mischief.

On that night, you are warned to mind your manners, shut your garden gate, and keep  your precious trinkets close before the moon rises. Though truth be told, no gate keeps him out and no hedge will stop him. Still, if you've been good, the Trickster may pass your house without incident.

The Jackalope does not steal - not in the ordinary sense. He prefers to trade. A ring for an acorn. A key for a feather. A silver coin for a pumpkin seed. And by sunset the next day, most things find their way home again.

Most... but not all.

You’ll see the option to purchase either the full necklace or just the pendant. If you already have a Dixi necklace you’d like to use, you can simply slide the pendant on. 

Each charm is thoughtfully designed to slide effortlessly onto our existing Dixi chains (a gentle wiggle may be needed), including the Wax Seal Necklaces, Sword Necklaces, Artemis, and more. The jump ring features a 3mm inner diameter, so just ensure the widest part of your chosen chain fits through. If not, the jump ring can be gently opened and closed using pliers (or tweezers!).

If you're threading it directly into a chain (such as with a charm bracelet), the gauge to note is 0.9mm.
