Antique | Ornate Scent Vessel
A curious little treasure with an air of mystery. This beautifully detailed vintage metal vessel features intricate floral decoration, a delicately pierced domed top and three tiny decorative feet.
Thought to have originally been used as a scent holder or miniature pomander, the piece has a small screw-in opening underneath, possibly designed to hold fragrant herbs or aromatic materials.
Its wonderfully aged patina and intricate detailing give it an old-world charm. A lovely little curiosity for a shelf, cabinet of curiosities or collection of unusual vintage finds.
Please note: This piece has been tested as sterling silver, hence the small shiny area visible on the underside. We have chosen to leave the beautiful, timeworn patina untouched, preserving all its character and charm. A special little find for someone who appreciates a curious antique trinket as much as we do.

Vintage Homeware
We like to select items that can not only tell a tale or two, but have plenty of life left in their journey. Please consider your vintage purchase carefully as it is final sale.
We love the individual character you get from a well-loved vintage piece. You should expect any and all aged, vintage products to show at least some signs of wear, but we'll still do our best to describe its true condition, and will provide photographs for you to inspect.
You will see a grade on your piece as follows:
Excellent - Minimal signs of wear, this item has probably only seen very light usage, or has been in storage.
Very Good - Only small signs of wear, probably unnoticeable unless you're inspecting the item closely.
Good - Typical signs of age-related wear, such as visible scratches / dents.
Fair - It has lived a good, long, well loved life and may show heavy signs of wear. Expect visible scratches, imperfections, and dents.
Most vintage homeware items will be dispatched in reused protective packaging.
