Pumpkin Wreath Ring BACK IN STOCK

The Dixi Autumn Bucket List (Budget Friendly Edition)

Here we've compiled some ideas for a budget friendly Autumn this year! You don't need lots of money to enjoy the sights, smells, and good vibes of the season.

  1. Walk around an Autumn festival - enjoy the scents and sights, treat yourself to a festive beverage if you are feeling fancy!
  2. Perfect your homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte. Make that recipe *flawless* and put the money you would have spent on the coffee shop version in a rainy day fund!
  3. Make a fall wreath. Think pine cones, twigs, oak leaves, cinnamon sticks etc.
  4. Have a Halloween movie marathon. You can find our list here if you aren’t sure where to start!
  5. Bake something sweet and spicy. Pumpkin bread, cinnamon swirls… we bet you’ve got a lot of the ingredients in the cupboard already.
  6. Make s’mores.
  7. Rewatch your Autumn comfort series. We all have one! ;) (Amy's is Gilmore Girls, Vicky's is Jane Eyre, the BBC 2006 version)
  8. Stargaze on a clear night. Wrap up warm and enjoy the moment. For bonus points, download a stargazing app on your phone so you can identify the constellations!
  9. Host an Autumn potluck with your friends and ask everyone to bring something they love to eat during this season.
  10. Read by candlelight.
  11. Take a sunset walk.
  12. Do a £5 charity shop challenge. It’s even better done with a friend! Your budget is £5, try and find the most autumnal treasure you can!
  13. Go to the library.
  14. Create a fresh Autumn playlist. You could also create a collaborative one with your friends!
  15. Host a game night.
  16. Add a new ring to your Dixi stack! Perhaps our Autumn is Calling Pumpkin Wreath Ring or our Pumpkin Cradle Wax Seal Ring needs a place in your daily jewellery wardrobe 😜
  17. Start an observations diary and make an effort to be more present in the moment. Remember, it doesn't have to be neat, or interesting to anyone else but yourself! The smallest little observation will be interesting to look back on in a few years time.
  18. Take a sunrise walk.
  19. Make a fall garland. One idea - slice an orange into super thin slices and put in the oven until dried out. Pull a piece of twine through the slices and tie to keep them in place before hanging up.
  20. Do an Autumn clothes swap with friends.
  21. Organise your wardrobe and purge. Donate or clothes swap the things you no longer use.
  22. Write a poem about how you feel this season.
  23. Admire the Harvest moon. It's 18th September 2024 for us in the Northern Hemisphere this year.
  24. Start a scrapbook of things you collect through the season. Receipts, photos, leaves, tickets, doodles, notes people have written you, playlists, book music film recommendations. Anything and everything!
